Peggy Haymes, M.Div., MA, LPC, is a counselor and minister, who has helped people from all over the world heal from the losses in their lives. She is pictured here with her shepherd/hound mix rescue dog, Oakley. She is also glad to claim two rescue cats, Maxie and Rosie, as part of the family.


Along with fellow counselor Susan Lautemann, she established PetCaring in 2005 to help pet lovers around the world heal from the loss of a pet. (Susan later left the company to pursue artistic endeavors.) Over the years the mission of PetCaring has expanded to help people celebrate their connections with their pets as well as the gifts that they bring to us.
